Introducing the CNBJ-707, your essential tool for quickly diagnosing the health and functionality of automotive relays. This compact and efficient tester enables you to easily check the operation of the most common automotive relays by simply connecting it to your car's battery (11V--15V). With user-friendly LED indicators, you can effortlessly monitor the performance of your relays in real-time.
1. Connect the power clips to your car battery: attach the black alligator clip to the negative terminal and the red alligator clip to the positive terminal.
2. The tester powers up with a RED LED illumination, indicating it is ready for use.
3. Before inserting the relay, check its pin configuration. Select "4 pin" or "5 pin" on the tester based on your relay type.
4. Insert the relay into one of the three available receptacles on the tester.
5. Press the "TEST" button to initiate the relay testing process.
6. The tester will verify the pin configuration of the relay. If the relay is incompatible or damaged, the RED LED will light up.
7. The tester will perform ten cycles of opening and closing the relay to assess the timing of the contacts. If the timing exceeds the acceptable range, the RED LED will activate immediately.
8. After testing the timing, the tester will evaluate the relay's consistency. A successful test will illuminate the GREEN LED, while a failure will trigger the RED LED.
9. Once testing is complete, disconnect the power clips from the battery and remove the relay from the tester.
1. Ensure that the car battery is a 12V battery with a voltage range of 11V to 15V for optimal performance.
2. This tester is ideal for relays with a coil resistance above 20 ohms.
